On July 22, 2025, the Philippine Coast Guard District Western Visayas hosted its Health and Wellness Caravan at Maalab Hall in Iloilo City—a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering holistic well-being among Coast Guard personnel. In partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard Foundation, the event offered a comprehensive platform for health education, featuring expert-led talks, wellness products, and interactive sessions focused on physical vitality, mental resilience, and emotional balance.

The caravan was made possible through the collaborative support of ProLifeToday, Apex Health and Wellness, Total Swiss Philippines, and Rebuilt & Rise Trading. Their unified efforts underscored a shared dedication to enhancing the quality of life for frontline maritime professionals.

A highlight of the program was the keynote presentation by Dr. Anthony So, a distinguished rehabilitation specialist from UST Hospital. His leadership brought together a diverse group of contributors and health advocates.

Among the key organizers was Ms. Irene Valdeavilla, Director of Total Swiss Philippines, whose sponsorship and coordination played a pivotal role in the caravan’s success. Ms. Lebannie Gutierrez, Director of Rebuilt & Rise Trading, generously provided wellness products and merchandise that enriched the experience for participants.
